My name is Emily and I have a bone to pick with the rest of the world. We all live our lives and expect to continue living our lives normally. But seriously what the hell does normal mean? Is normal the picture perfect family from the suburbs? Is it marrying the first person you fell in love with? What is it?
Well, my answer is that the so called normal that we all strive to achieve isn't the normal part of our lives. not everyone can be linked to those monotonous events in our lives, and not everyone can relate to them either. But everyone has, or will, experience a life altering moment that will change them -- and this is what we have in common.
But before I get to far ahead of myself, my name, once again, is Emily. Who am I? Well for starters my name isn't actually Emily. However I am in college and formerly a resident of the Beaver State (which is Oregon for anyone who doesn't know or who isn't a college football fan.) I play lacrosse, I ski, I study, I love movies, I work, and now on top of it, I blog. To be honest I have never really thought much of blogs and bloggers, but where else can you set up a false identity and tell people everything about your life? Here, and only here. If you want to read, read if you don't, don't. I don't care, this is more for me than anyone else. This is my place to bleed out the pain in my life, to write my happy memories, and hopefully change someone else's life through my experiences in my "normally abnormal" life. If it is your life I am about to change then to you and only you I will say that I am glad you have found my blog. This will not always be lighthearted and humorous because let's face it, life's a bitch sometimes. However I will do my best to not have every post be dismal and depressing.
